The Bridges shopping centre in Sunderland is gearing up to welcome students back to the city with a special event on 23 September, featuring an array of food, fun, and discounts. The event, running from 1 pm to 5 pm, promises to be a lively afternoon filled with entertainment, giveaways, and a chance to win big prizes, including £300 worth of goodies for those who can crack a safe.

The first 200 students to arrive will receive a free £5 voucher for Greggs, adding an extra incentive to get there early. Additionally, retailers have agreed to extend their special discounts beyond the event itself, offering deals throughout the entire first week, which is perfect for students looking to stock up on essentials or start their Christmas shopping early.

Karen Eve, Centre Director at the Bridges, expressed excitement about this year’s event, highlighting the extended discounts and variety of offerings as key attractions. Students will need to present a valid student ID to access these deals and participate in the giveaways.

For more information on the event and to find out about the specific discounts and entertainment available, students can visit the Bridges shopping centre’s official website at www.thebridges-shopping.com.
