Those on working credits
must be deadhead shirkers.
Only working 15 hours,
lazy gits, do more!
Stop moaning about child care costs,
get a nanny, use your Gran,
plan night shifts, work from home.
A zero hours contract makes
life flexible, you know.
How do you expect us
to pay for corporate tax cuts?
There is no magic money tree to raid.
Here's a tip, become a banker,
get a bonused situation
and be proud that you're no longer
a useless drain upon the nation.
Gerda Pickin

Writer of many published short stories and a handful of poems, Gerda is a singer and musician of long standing. Residing in Brampton, she is hopeful that the long night of the Tories can slowly be erased. She will continue to hold strong to her values, and not be afraid to lambast privilege
