The North East adult pantomime Snow White and the Seven Drag Queens opened to a packed City Hall in Newcastle on Saturday night.

Undeterred by the wind and ice, the queues lapped the surrounding streets, the audience in eager anticipation of this new adult-themed production, touring cities across the UK.

The show

RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Michael Marouli and Tomara Thomas headlined a celebrity tv cast including David Potts (Celebrity Big Brother winner).

Scarlett Moffatt (of Gogglebox fame) was unable to perform as the sassy not quite so Snow White due to medical reasons, but her understudy did well enough kicking the not so charming Prince Albert straight into touch before escaping her evil stepmother and then being taken in by seven outrageous drag queens.

With a great soundtrack, innuendo and glittering costumes, Itchy, Bitchy, Tipsy, Tiny, Horny, Windy, and Pot transform Snow White into their latest drag project whilst the stars of the show were the dancers who were superb and suitably shiny.
