Yesterday I gave you sugar for your tea Now you come to my door with a gun for me My grandmother nursed yours, when she was so very ill History is erased now, the winds blow so chill You say all that, but we have been shown another way By our great and truthful leaders of today They have opened up our eyes to what is good and true With our flag and our anthem I can see the real true But we were such good friends only yesterday Remember how our children happily used to play How have we changed, how are we not now the same Or are you just looking for somebody to blame?
