Bullets over books,
weapons over words,
then wonder why outsiders
find you quite absurd.
Around every corner
hides an evil bogeyman,
so train that trigger finger
as fast as you can.
When everything you see
is made from fantasies and lies
you reach for your hip pocket
and shoot up the bad guys.
Hush little babies,
don't you cry,
daddy's sold you
a star-spangled lullaby.
