Have Conservative MPs forgotten about 14 years of Tory government?

The goings on in the Commons chamber post election are very strange and almost impossible to comprehend. Trying to use intellect to understand how Conservative MPs can stand up, ‘smugometer’ set to 10, and forget that 14 years of Tory government ever happened, just hasn’t got to the bottom of it.

Client journalists will either ignore it…Daily Mail, GBeebies, Talk TV etc, or perhaps the more honest ones will call it hypocrisy, political opportunism or even rank dishonesty.

Is it possible that so many people from one group could be this disingenuous without outside influence?

I don’t believe so.

As intelligence and rational thought hadn’t worked, I channelled my inner idiot (it didn’t take a lot of effort, tbh, because it is quite close to the surface), I came to the conclusion that someone has been tampering with Tory MPs brains.

It became obvious to me that they have either had sessions with a hypnotist or been hooked up to the memory altering machine from Total Recall.

I am leaning quite heavily towards the latter, because I am not convinced that even the best hypnotist could achieve such sweeping and successful results.

The result on this occasion has not involved rushing off to Mars, but rather to wipe the previous fourteen years of incompetence, corruption, mismanagement and broken public services from their memories and replaced it with a Utopian Britain basking in fully funded police, NHS, local councils streets paved with gold and opportunities for all.

This, of course, means that they take zero responsibility for any current crises and it is the result of four and a half months of the Labour Government.

I am convinced that brainwashing is the correct conclusion and believe I can prove it.

I mean how could anyone, whose brain has not been tampered with, appoint Matt Vickers to a shadow ministerial role? Even if It is a junior one.

It just doesn’t make any sense!

The vacuous smugmeister, the parmo populist on the front bench?

There had to be a reason for it…it can’t have anything to do with talent, gravitas or intelligence, as their absence have been on show for all to see.

Memories and reality must have been tampered with.

I rest my case…
