The complete list of candidates for the local council elections in North Tyneside has been confirmed. Unlike neighbouring councils, this year’s local election in North Tyneside only has 20 seats up for grabs this time round, having already had its ‘all-out’ election in 2024. The current make up of the council consists of 50 Labour councillors, eight Conservative councillors, one Independent councillor, and one Reform councillor.
Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by midnight on Monday, 20 April. Residents can register online.
