Dear Mr Vickers,
Please may I start by thanking you for your patronising response to a very straightforward concern regarding the future of the NHS. It’s always uplifting when such a doyen of the Conservative Part can take time out of their busy schedule of getting the politics of hate out there.
I note we are now supposed to hate Gary Lineker, as well as refugees, asylum seekers, teachers, nurses, ambulance staff, or indeed anyone who has the temerity to ask for a pay rise.
I suppose hate is all you have left seeing as this sleaze ridden and incompetent government has trashed our country.
Anyway…hypocrisy
You are a signatory of a letter trying to get Mr Lineker sacked.
- You decry cancel culture, yet want to cancel him.
- You are unconcerned about the DG of BBC being a Conservative.
- You are unconcerned about the Chairman being a Conservative donor and facilitating a huge loan to the most sleaze ridden grifter ex PM.
- You are unconcerned about board members who were Tory advisers
- You are unconcerned about opaque Tufton St think-tanks spouting their blatantly political biases unchallenged
- You are unconcerned about any biases at all, just as long as it is in your favour.
Hypocrisy 101
Mr Lineker spoke for a huge number of the British public on calling out your disgusting and illegal Bill. He called out, correctly, that the language being used was not dissimilar to that used in 1930s Germany. In fact the Home Secretary was called out by a holocaust survivor for the same sort of language and ignored and dismissed her view.
The UN and numerous human rights organisations and charities are extremely concerned about this policy.
The only people approving of the demonising of asylum seekers and refugees are extreme right wing parties.
Do you really want to be a poster boy for the AFB and Matteo Salvini?
Do you really want to be on the same side as Britain First?
Yours
Chris Wade
