We are a Palestinian family from Gaza, uprooted and displaced by the ongoing war. Under heavy bombardment, our home was destroyed, forcing us to flee with nothing but the clothes we were wearing. Overnight, we lost everything – our shelter, our belongings, and the little sense of safety we once had.
Today, we are living in a makeshift tent, exposed to the harsh conditions of displacement. There is no proper shelter, no clean water, and not enough food to keep my children healthy. Every night, they go to sleep hungry, frightened by the sounds of war and the uncertainty of what tomorrow might bring. As a parent, it breaks my heart to see their innocent faces marked by fear, exhaustion, and deprivation.
A daily struggle for survival
My family’s life has been reduced to a daily struggle for survival. We do not have access to medical care when my children fall ill, we lack the simplest necessities, and we live with the constant pain of losing our home, our memories, and our sense of security.
I am making this appeal to the world, to kind-hearted people, and to humanitarian organisations: please do not let us face this suffering alone. Your support can provide us with food, clean water, medicine, and a safe place to live. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings hope back into our lives and reminds us that we are not forgotten.
This is not just a plea for aid – it is a cry for survival, dignity, and compassion. My family, like countless others in Gaza, desperately needs your solidarity and assistance in these darkest of times.
