This is life in Gaza now

"We are searching ...for a small piece of hope in the middle of devastation"

What is left of a home in Gaza

What is left of a home in Gaza

We sat on stairs that no longer lead to a home… only to memories.

Here in Gaza, this was our house. This was where we laughed, where mornings smelled like coffee, where life felt safe. Now, everything is buried under rubble

The child beside me doesn’t understand why his bed is gone, or why his home turned into broken stones. He looks at me silently, as if asking, “Where will we go now?” And I have no answer… only a tired smile hiding deep pain.

We lost everything we owned… our home, our memories, our sense of safety, and the simple things that once made life feel normal. All we have left are a few belongings and hearts trying to stay strong among the ruins.

In Gaza, we are not searching for luxury… we are searching for safety, for shelter, for a small piece of hope in the middle of devastation.

Despite everything, we still dream that one day we will smile again.
