Full casting has been announced for the 2026 UK tour of 9 to 5 The Musical, which heads to Darlington Hippodrome in August. The hit stage musical, inspired by the classic 1980 film and featuring music by Dolly Parton, will tour the UK with a new production from Landmark Theatres.
Leading cast announced
The production stars Jessica Martin as Roz, Karla Tracey as Doralee, Kayla Carter as Judy, Tim Rogers as Franklin Hart Jr and Jade Marvin as Violet.
They are joined by Sammy Graham as Kathy, Ceris Hine as Margaret and Benjamin Karran as Joe.
Further cast members include Bradley Judge, Colin Kiyani, Alicia Mencía, Rodney Vubya and Jemima-Jane Willcox.
The ensemble features Jamie Chidzey, Beth Woodcock and Ashley St John, who will also serve as Dance Captain.

Speaking about joining the production, Jessica Martin said: “I can’t wait to bring Roz out on tour in this hugely entertaining sharp, sassy and subversive show. A tribute to the queen that is Dolly.”
Tim Rogers, who plays the villainous boss Franklin Hart Jr, added: “It’s going to be a blast!”
A story of friendship and revenge
Set in a busy office environment, 9 to 5 The Musical follows three women who decide they have had enough of their sexist and overbearing boss.
What begins as a fantasy revenge plan quickly spirals into chaos, comedy and empowerment.
The musical features some of Dolly Parton’s best-loved songs alongside new numbers written for the stage adaptation.
Creative team behind the production
The tour is produced by Landmark Theatres in association with Music Theatre International.
It marks Landmark Theatres’ first in-house production to tour nationally.
The show is directed by Paul Jepson, with set and costume design by Amanda Stoodley.
Musical supervision comes from Mark Crossland, lighting design by Andy Purves and sound design by Chris Whybrow.
Assistant direction is by Sonny Nwachukwu.
Director praises the show
Paul Jepson described the production as “a feel-good show with a big heart”.
He said: “Patriarchal male power behaviours are skewered. But all the characters have heart and soul – and most of all dreams.”
He also praised the original screenplay by Colin Higgins and highlighted songs including Get Out and Stay Out, Heart to Hart and One of the Boys.
