Written 8 years ago, since when we have sunk even further...

You say "Send ’em all back!"
these drowned babes,
washed up on sand
that should be toddled on.
"Pull up the drawbridge,
the scroungers are knocking!
Switch off the internet,
those pictures are shocking!"
What happened to you?
Who came over here
and stole all your shame
while you weren’t feeling?
