The government’s lowest day yet

You waffled, denied
Then blatantly lied.
Before being slapped by the met.
At long last you came
To face the shame
Of the government's lowest day yet.
Hangdog expression
You answered each question
By mumbling and looking contrite
Lots of fake “sorry"s-
But even Ms Dorries
Wouldn't be fooled by that sh*te.
Then came the deadline
For making the headlines
On yesterday's evening news.
Then you changed- what a con!
All pretence was gone
When you smirked through today's PMQs.
Even after being fined
You refuse to resign
But don't you for one moment doubt
That there's anyone
Who does not want you gone
The nation speaks: #JohnsonOut!
