The inhuman caterpillar

The street of shame is alive,
thriving with the buzzing of texts
 as slippery lizards bend eachother
 over cokedust covered desks.
 There's Michael and his wife,
 Bozza, Dom and Matt,
 with Priti on the door
 keeping peepers on the score.
 The Inhuman caterpillar
 keeps on ripping and chewing
 with the country asleep
 drifting slowly to ruin.
