Colin is the Liberal Democrat Leader of the Opposition on Newcastle City Council, where he has been a councillor since 2018. He takes a particular interest in community politics, local government finance, and education matters. Outside of politics, he is an experienced charity sector senior manager, a long-serving school governor, and a keen runner. He has lived for over half of his life in North East England, a region he is privileged to call home.
