Sports journalist and writer. Born in Turkey in 1972. Graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism. Worked as a sports reporter, editor, writer and editor-in-chief in various newspapers and magazines. In 2006, he won first place in the 'Competition Criticism' category of the Traditional Sports Award Competition of the Turkish Sports Writers Association. In the same year, he was awarded the Fair Play Award and Honorary Diploma by the Turkish National Olympic Committee. He has written 4 books about football, two of which are biographies and two of which are humorous. He has been living in Newcastle, England for 5 years. He is a member of the NUJ (National Union of Journalists) and holds The UK Press Card. He is also a Newcastle United fan. He closely follows sports matches, especially the Premier League, Championship and Turkish League. He publishes his impressions of some matches on his Youtube channel called Necati Kola TV. He also makes documentary films.
