Disabled People Against Cuts (DPAC) has announced a public rally to oppose the latest round of cuts to disability benefits. The demonstration will take place on Wednesday, 26 March at 12pm by Darlington Town Hall. There is also a parallel rally at the same time at Grey’s Monument, Newcastle.
DPAC, a grassroots organization led by disabled people, is mobilising against government policies that threaten the livelihood and dignity of disabled individuals. The recent proposals to reduce disability support will exacerbate financial hardship, increase inequality, and undermine the basic rights of those who rely on these essential benefits.

The rally will feature testimonies from disabled activists and allies who will speak out against the devastating impact of these cuts. Community leaders and advocacy groups will stand in solidarity to demand an end to this assault on disability rights.
